The Connector For ERPs on your own server

Your own ERP, in Salesmatrix by tomorrow morning

If your ERP runs on a server you manage, The Connector brings its sales data to Salesmatrix. It is a small Windows program that sits inside your network, reads your ERP with a read-only login and sends your sales overnight. Ready-made scripts cover 20+ systems.

How it works

Set it up once. After that it runs by itself, every night.

01

Install The Connector

On any Windows PC or server in your network that can reach your ERP's database and stays on overnight.

02

Point it at your ERP

Give it a read-only database login, and choose your system to start from our ready-made queries. The queries live in your dashboard, so you can see them and change them at any time.

03

Wake up to your data

The first load runs overnight. Next morning your customers, products and sales are in Salesmatrix, and each night after that only the new sales are added.

Safe by design

Built for the questions your IT person will ask.

Nothing gets in

The Connector sits inside your network and only ever calls out to Salesmatrix. No firewall ports to open, no VPN, no remote access to your server.

Read-only to your ERP

It reads with a login that cannot change anything in your database. Nothing is installed inside your ERP and nothing changes for its users.

You can see what is sent

The queries are on the Connection page of your dashboard, and Logs show how many records arrived each night. No black box.

Looks after itself

It runs overnight and sends only what is new. Updates install themselves, are checked before they install, and roll back on their own if anything goes wrong.

What Salesmatrix reads

  • Customers, with the groups and categories you sort them by
  • Products, with their categories
  • Invoiced sales lines: date, customer, product, sales rep, quantity, value and cost
  • Contacts linked to your customers

What it leaves alone

  • Payroll and employee records
  • Bank accounts and payments
  • Your general ledger
  • Anything not in the queries you can see on your Connection page

Four ways in to almost any ERP

If your ERP keeps its data in a database, The Connector can almost certainly read it.

ODBC

Any system that comes with an ODBC driver, the most common way in. For example Attaché, Sage 50 and Fishbowl.

Microsoft SQL Server

Straight to the database, with no driver to set up. For example Jiwa, SAP Business One, Sybiz and Microsoft Dynamics.

OLE DB

Databases with an OLE DB provider, such as Microsoft Access.

CSV export

If your system can save a scheduled export to a folder, The Connector can send that instead.

Questions about The Connector

What does it need to run?

A 64-bit Windows PC or server that can reach your ERP's database and stays on overnight. Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019 or later already include everything it needs. Older versions need Microsoft's free .NET Framework 4.7.2 update.

Do we need to open anything in our firewall?

No. The Connector only makes outgoing connections to Salesmatrix, the same way a web browser does. Nothing connects in to your network.

Will it slow our ERP down?

It runs overnight, outside business hours. After the first load it sends only the previous day's new sales.

Who looks after updates?

We do. The Connector checks for new versions and installs them itself. Each update is checked before it installs, and if it does not start cleanly The Connector goes back to the previous version.

Where is our data kept?

On servers at AccuWebHosting.com in Sydney, Australia and Denver, US. Each business has its own private dashboard.

Can we stop it later?

Yes, at any time. Disable the read-only login, or uninstall The Connector from Windows like any other program, and nothing more is sent.
